WHAT'S A FORMAT?
During my 2nd Semester at the HfG Schwäbisch Gmünd I had the honor to join the editorial team of the Format magazine. Format is a design magazine founded 13 years ago by HfG students. Everything is done by a team of dedicated students varying in size, with some content contributions coming from off-site designers or other interesting humans we managed to get a hold of.
Format, #23, came in a nice little package with postcards, a poster from a design contest we held and three smaller magazines.
↓    What we did
BEING A PART OF THE EDITORIAL TEAM
The editorial team consisted of 3 people: Benedict Dorndorf, Isabella Düe and me. We planned and held weekly meetings, organised the groups and searched for an overlaying theme for each issue. We also supported our layout team, arranged everything to be printed, managed the finances of the Format, sold the magazine and finally organised a release party!
